I noticed the rear end sagged ALOT.

My first upgrade after you attend to all the other immediate mechanical devices would be to install a complete RB suspension kit with adjustable shocks. DTSS Removal is a MUST.

After that, its full RB exhaust (probably road race treatment for me).

At least, thats how I'd do it.

I know S4 N/A FC's inside out. Need any help, let me know.

I don't do burnouts and leave much rubber on it, so as an amateur on the drag strip, I wouldn't know good from bad. *shrug* It's black and it's smooth.

They mentioned over the PA system why they paved that section and they explained that it was to show the new management was commited to fixing things up.

Given the amount of time the new owners have had to try and make a profit from the track, the relativley few racers and the cost of pavement I can't fault them.

The guy just bought the place, so we'll see only minor improvements this year and a complete overhaul next year.

Not that it matters because the only thing that interests me is lapping days, which dont exsist to my knowledge anymore.

Your just looking in the wrong spots... probably the easiest, and best since its timed is solo1. The catch there is you have to sign up at the start of the year and take the school to acquire a licence.

Other than that lots of clubs hold lapping days, but many times its hard to hear about them unless you know the right people... But track days at race city arent dead.

Im talking full track, non-stop running (with other cars) until you run out of gas or whatever.

All the track days I goto are wait in line for 30 minutes. Do 2 minutes of driving around a short course, wait 30 more minutes, repeat.

I wanna do 20 laps on the full course in a row. If theres other cars on the track at the same time, thats fine.

I knew what you were talking about. Its solo2 that you do the quick runs... Not alot of seat time and alot of standing around... Id say come check out solo1 but you wont be able to get near the steering wheel untill you have a WCMA licence, so that means waiting till next year.
Ill let you know about the next lapping day that i hear about, the usual format is a series of 20 min run groups, which equates to 12-15 laps at a time. on a good day ive known people that have gotten around 125 laps total, at 2miles a lap, that is alot of driving.

anyone know the price to rent out the street course for a few hours, i wouldn't mind couching up a little money to have a lappign day with a few other 7's. of course i'm a broke *** so it'll depend on how much it would cost.

Miata Club rents the southern roadcourse out 4-5 times a year. Costs about $3000 for half a day.

If money is no issue, they are pretty much booked soon as the season starts.

Keep an eye out for a lapping day. I've been dying to get my Miata out on the track full bore. Everytime I just get warmed up, I have to stand around for 30 minutes.

3000$ ouch. few guys from the wheat buckly's series kept mentioning how they were renting the course for practise, so i didn't think it was THAT much.

With the south end you dont need the same insurance, you dont need an ambulance on site, and the track rental is cheaper. For a full track day to work its pretty much 20 people at 200 per person... and thats barely breaking even.

Curious, why a must? How bad is stock?

I ordered a master cyl rebuilt kit today. Hopefully have it on the road by Thursday.

I was contemplating taking into Adam's shop and getting new ones front and back.
