Hey Canada !

I'm from France and bought my first FD last month and I had doubts about its origin.
According to the seller, it is a Canadian imported car and would have been imported to EU from Canada near 2014.
The thing is, according to the VIN of the car ( JM1FD3315P******* ), it should be from the USA. (Canadian ones having a JM1FD332* code)

Finally, on another post, I've been informed that's a USA market car (thanks j9fd3s ) , so I guess it was imported to canada from USA at some point. And if it's the case, I'd like to know when
Does any of you use www.carproof.com or another VIN database service ? (from my end, carproof is redirected to carfax.eu, which is way too expensive for me, and I don't know if they could bring any relevant information or not)
I tried the Canadian VIN verify service ( VIN Verify ) but it only says : " the VIN has NOT been identified as a vehicle listed in our records"
