They saw a market where they could make money, can't say I really blame them, wait till the Supras are legal, that will **** the owners off...

I know, lets flood the market with a modestly uncommon car, making it common and driving down the collectability and prices of the ones we already have.

Now everyone can own an FD at a reasonable $10,000 and everyone is happy!

I've seen more FD's around here this winter than volkswagens.

From an enthusiasts stand point I totally agree, but it's happened with Land Cruisers, Skylines, and RX7's. If it allows people that aren't interested in FC's but still love the rotary, and brings them to the clubs so be it. Not everyone wants to work their way up to the FD, but it's whats going to eventually happen with me; I really don't see it hurting the value of the NADM cars, maybe I am wrong, to me it will allow the prices to rise for the "domestic" ones, seeing as they would be more rare than the RHD ones.

I was one of the first few with a JDM FD, and I hate to see this stereotype get created. But it's happened, so whatever. Just hope people don't hurt themselves or the cars.

Edit: I also hate to see the originallity and value drop as much as anyone.

TVR. Well, maybe not TVR. That would be considered littering. There would be hundreds littering the roads ether with the bonnet up, or more likely the wheels up.

Land Rover Defender. Although it was only made here for a couple years (95-97) with a V8 Automatic, much like the Toyota Hilux and Land Cruisers, they are making their RHD and LHD ways over here with proper diesel engines and many body configurations.

I reciently pitched the Idea of a 20B powered Discovery to a couple mates. After the laugher died down, the real question was stated. "How hard can it be?"
