LF: Experienced Rotary Machine Shop

Looking for a Machine Shop experienced in rotary engines. I need my side plates lapped and re-nitrided. I don't know of anywhere that can do it, I've called a few shops and they've never even heard of it being done, or even seen a rotary. I want someone who knows what they're doing to do my irons. In Barrie or Toronto area.

I cant get a hold of Brent...his number is cut off. Pickering is too far. And from I heard Joe never lapped irons. Ill try some of the rotary shops...I think I may just buy some irons in good shape and use them.

None of them do it. I know Mazdee's has a lapping stone but that takes forever and is exhausting and it still won't be re-nitrated.

More like people are too cheap up here to pay for it so nobody has ever bothered.

You can always use the good old method of some grinding compound and just rub them together until your shoulders say no more.

NOt sure if people are to cheap to do it here its just cost way more to do it here in ontario then in the states? I would love to find a local as I have a set to do as well. I've contact Chips motorsports but I would rather drive it down then pay the shipping...

Rx7 Specialties in calgary has a special machine for lapping plates. I dont think he charges that much either, you'd have to email or call to find out.
