Make sure they plug any threaded holes with a bolt or something. When my friend got his parts coated, they got ceramic coating in his turbine housing holes... not cool!

Shawn, any idea on how much a turbo might cost to do?

I was always under the impression that the hoods on FD's never opened, I wonder who could have made me think such a thing.....

RLD in Ottawa, also a very good option as stated above.

I have never personally delt with them, but I have seem a few parts done by them and they looked good and seems to have lasted to date ( I would say 3-4 years ago ) .

I know you open your hood, there is a particular owner that won't open it unless the car needs oil, I don't know what thats all about.

The only two things i have not coated would be the turbos and the block itself. Not untill i do a porting job and have to pull the motor will i do these items. When i do im going to read into it more and check to see about other coatings and such for the internals of the motor, but thats just in thought as of now.
