Internet Explorer

Every time I post or PM on the site, Internet Explorer displays an error message and then shuts down.
It happens from both my home (old PC and dial up) and from my work location (new PC and high speed LAN).

Anyone else having this problem??

2nd that, no problems with Firefox
Just for fun, I tried posting this with IE. No problem obviously.
Really, the problem is likely OS/browser corruption-related, not site related - as in you may want to try virus and spyware removal tools, and if no success there, reinstall. If you're using XP (I'm assuming you are), it does have a repair install option that doesn't erase all your programs and documents. Even though I tend to recommend a clean install, the repair option can often get the job done without having to reinstall everything. I'd still recommend a backup of user folders before trying it tho.

System Restore won't erase any user data, just programs. You just have to reinstall programs to regain access to your data.

Even MS isn't that dumb...

It's located under start, all programs, accessories, system tools.

There was a topic in the Lounge a few months ago covering this problem.

Do you have any browser helpers installed (toolbars and such)? If so, remove them. That will go a long way to helping...
