Interior question

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could guide me in the right direction.

I own a 1992 RHD FD and I've been looking to replace the plastic trim that surrounds the shifter boot / ashtray / misc switches.

What I don't know is: will a LHD piece fit? The reason I ask is that I notice they are slightly different. The placement of the ashtray and two switches is flipped between RHD and LHD pieces.

I have no qualms with my ashtray being on the other side, I just want to make sure before I buy this:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

that it will snap right into place.

Any feedback or experiences that anyone has had will be greatly appreciated.

I won't fit.... The whole assembly is mirrored.... If you look at the one corner it's nice and smooth while the other is straight, if you buy a LHD one it will be completely backwards, and not fit at all...

If you buy it, you will be dissapointed, cause it will not fit...

If you want new OEM and don't mind the price, check out www.rhdjapan.com
They will have almost everything you would want for new interior peieces...

Refinish it, just did mine, but if you figure in time and materials it may have been cheaper to buy it?
How bad is it? just peeling or deep scratches.

It has some hefty scratches and a crack in it. Thanks for the link, that site will help me find a few interior items I need!
