ON how much for a repaint?

was wondering how much would it be to repaint an FD, choosing the factory red color? I am looking at purchasing an FD but so far I have seen only one that I like, but the paint isnt looking its best and was considering to take it repainted if I happen to purchase. Anyone know where I can go for factory finish and how much it it will run for?

Cost can vary depending on existing damage and existing other paint jobs. You're looking anywhere from (the absolute minimum for a clean un-damaged car) $2500 on up to the $5000 range if it needs alot of attention.

I've done numerous FD's here.

Classicauto (Joe) is the man. He's painted my 99 spec bumper and will be re-painting my FD. He's done a few Fd's as mentioned, his work is top notch, I can vouch for him.

I think 3,000$ and up is a normal price. Given the shape of an FD over an FC if I were a painter I would charge more for an FD.

It only ends up that way in reality simply because 98% of FC owners can't afford to paint their car in the first place

(I own an FC )

Everywhere I've gone in Calgary, the cheapest i've been told is that repaints START at 3,000. One guy said his shopt STARTS at 6,500, so i assume it's alot more than that.
