How much is my supra worth!?!
Hey guys I bought an FD, and I am selling this in Winnipeg. I bought it for $8500, and put prob. $1200 into it. I was thinkin of selling it for $9500
what do you guys think? Heres the pics and info:

This is a RHD supra. J-spec TT engine. Mods list includes: Sparco seats, Momo stearing wheel, Lowering springs, rear strut tower bar, new shocks, tinted windows, Bomex body kit, 18" ekini wheels, ARP wing, areo mirrors, turbo-back exhaust, 2-12" ME audio subs, with 2400 Watt amp
This car is in excellent condition. Only 130,000km. AT, Power door locks, windows, tilt stearing. VERY well taken care of. Very fast and handling is amazing! New battery, tune up, and fluid changes.

BTW I'd agree, but for the amount of $$ thats been put into this car, I'd say a 5spd swap would be worth it. if thats what it comes down to...
Don't like the wing, but that's neither here nor there, since the target market for the car is likely boy-ricer types that may very well think it's the shiz. Between RHD, non-turbo, and slushbox, I'd guess $4,500-$5,000 tops, based on a few listings from across the country - even here in Calgary, the land of hyper-inflated prices on everything, you'd not likely get much more than that.
That said, a Calgary stealership has an (apparently) never sold 1990 Supra Turbo, asking $49,995!

I assume they're waiting for someone to wander into the dealership after a weekend bender fueled with drugs and alcohol, just home from a year in Fort MacMurray, and flush with cash. Good luck with that... I'd much rather spend $15,000 on this: http://www.canadatrader.com/result/d...9&pgno=1&srt=1

2JZ's are for poseurs, the 1JZ is the motor you want for street and track. The JZA70,.. this IS a JZA70.. not a GA70.. ? You said it's a 'TT" so i assume thats ' twin turbo' so it's got to be either the GA or JZ motor. Also if it's a JZ ( 2.5L TT) then someone's scoffed your kokui lights and replaced them with the older zenki rear lights and center cover.
you'd get more for it as a parts car, ~$1500 and easily $400 or more for those perfect belt line trim parts.. but thats here, maybe in MB it's different.

well I guess it's better to be out $15k than $50k, but I'd still rather spend $50k on a brand new 1990 car, than $15k on a scam.

and ya I love the wheels on my FD. They are actually morelike 'ghost chrome'-not super shiney and hard to keep clean. but ya I payed $400 for the wheeks AND tires lol... ppl on here are trying to sell simmilar used wheel/tire packages for $2000!?!?!? WHAT!?!? lol
i mentioned this before, that your car is a zenki, so the 86-88 model.. the 1G & 1JZ didn't come out till 89'-90'.. on the cam gear cover you should see some letters, first part should be either;
7M
1G
1JZ
which is it.. this will really be telling for the price of the car
