.....are you serious dude?
i hope you mean the difference between the actual canadian and us cars and not how to convert metric lol

1lb x 2.2 = 1kg

but for the s4 (86-88) the lightest are the base and sport models at about 2600lbs, and the heaviest are teh turbo and vert models at around 2850. add about 200lbs for the s5 variants.

which model? I know canada got a GX or something, like a half gxl/gtu
i mean there are so many stupid options it really isnt exact for the model.

what model/options do you have?
ABS? PS? AC? Power windows? Spoilers? Steel hood? heh.

Canadian cars are about 40 lbs heavier than US spec cars, but only because of the different bumper re-enforcements and bumper spring assemblies required on Canadian models.

and I edited your title to better reflect the question and moved your thread to the canadian section, sonce the majority of the FC technical section is US owners

40lbs? That sounds like an awfull lot. Apparently Canadian FC bumpers had to withstand a 5mph impact whereas US bumpers only had to withstand a 2.5mph impact. That applies to S4s, I'm not sure on S5s. Ultimately I'm guessing that you want to find out how much your car weighs. My suggestion is to go get it weighed.

My car is from the US, it has two pieces of foam and one solid fibre-like material (I don't want to say fibre glass, it's more fibrey, less resin..). What do the Canadian bumpers have behind them?

More than an African FC but less than a European FC. Are we talking about an unladen FC? They're non-migratory, you know...
