Help me Decide

So I can't decide what to do with my 20b. I've narrowed it down to 3 options. Can you guys help? I keep bouncing from one setup to another. Some days i want the brap brap monster that spins tires on the highway, other days I think I'd be happier with the more modest instant torque monster that turns passengers into little girls due to how snappy it is. Although I guess the same could be said about all 3 setups LOL.

1 - Quick spool and responsive torque with a GTX4294R and a streetport
expected 650 rwhp, 730 rwhp max

2 - Decent spool with midrange and top-end with a GTX4202R and a large streetport
expected 750 rwhp, 850 rwhp max

3 - Turbo spools at 5k RPM but power goes to 9k with a GTX4508R and a semi-pp
expected 880 rwhp, 970 rwhp max

These are all estimates on rwhp figures but the comparison is fair between them. The max figures are at high boost, something I wouldn't be running on the track. This is with pump gas and water/meth injection. I actually think option 3 has the potential to hit 1,000 rwhp but that is going to take some work and I'm not sure it can be achieved with pump gas.

Too loud and not enough torque/hp. I want it streetable. Your car is too loud Jim, just imagine a 3 rotor version of it LOLOL. I don't need a 1,800 RPM idle. Besides a semi-pp would work better then a streetport and be quieter and thats my option 3 for crazy ****.

I'm with Jim. Use s5 NA rotors and make it rev past 10k while you're at it.

I'm not going to a 20b to make less power then my 13b did >_>. If I was going to keep it N/A, I'd go 4 rotor. Probably cost less then the 20b too.

I voted option 1. If your keeping it on the street.

Track toy towed to the track option 3

Any progress yet? End of year showing or next year thing

I'd like for it to be end of the year but I doubt that will happen. Once I pull everything out of the car and list it on a partout, I'll have a better idea of an ETA.

Option 3 would still be streetable FYI . It would just brap like a bridgeport but not as loud as Jim's, it would have a lower idle.

I chose #2.
Number 1 would be too slow for ya,and would **** you off and you would either blow it up or rebuild it.
Number 3 you would most likely have to Tow to the track and would not drive it on the street.(rarely if so).
..so..Number 2..Best of both worlds..

I voted for option 1. I'm assuming that would be the most responsive setup (re: turbo spool) – it might even have "reasonable" emissions and mileage.

Are you going with alcohol injection on this build?

The gas mileage isn't really much different between 1 and 2. I'm going to be running straight pump until everything gets sorted since its a new build from scratch. After the car is working 100%, then I'll be adding AI and crank up the boost.

# 1 because traction and driveability would be the next challenge, just my thoughts...

#2 would have the broadest powerband. #1 would have more immediate torque but die off by redline. #3 would just be 3k...4k...5k...WTF...9k...next gear

^ That sounds like my Rx-4...LOL I like the sound of option 2. That way you don't have to deal with the peripheral porting headache. Also you always have to option later on of adding the peri port if you want and changing turbos to suit.

wouldn't option 3 offer the most streetable drive as long as you keep rev's below 5k? and then on the track, just keep the rev's up? seems like the best option to me, but I don't know squat about turbos lol

Option 3 is going to have a high idle, be a little loud, and bad on gas.
