Plans
I have to admit no plans except keeping it 100% stock and low miles. It wont be my primary or secondary car. I don't plan on putting more than about 5000 KMs per year if that much and it wont see any bad weather including no rain if I can help it. I have a 74 RX4 Coupe also in original mint condition with just 33000 original miles that only get about 1000kms per year as well. I like to collect them.

Yes, a ture car guy.
I wish to start collecting as well one day i have a hard time selling my cars. I just bought an 1988 RX7TII mint conditon no rust no dent no dings 100k on it all original and everythign stock and in good working order.
I plan to do some resotration of the weather strippingand a extensvie detail. Its not as mint as your but its the best i have come across and i have been looking for yrs (budget big restriction) but one day i rid myself of the belt tightener
I plan on using this as a purely recational car keep the miles low and car clean.
There is also some slight fading and peeling of the clear coat (orginal paint)
do you think i should repaint, hard time with the decision. my mind set is if i repait its not orginal anymore

I used to own a mint 1990 Red Turbo II. I sold it in 1996 with just 20000Kms on it needing the money to open up a business. I have been sad ever since and still am to this day about it.
Do not repaint yours. Find a good body guy that can hand wet sand the car and buffed to new. This will take time. Then just have a clear coat applied by the same guy. This might cost a lot but not as much a a full repaint. This way you will have the original base paint looking as new and only a clear coat applied keeping the car "original." Original stock cars bring and will have more value in the future. I remember that car well, that hum of that engine when the turbo kicked in was assume....
..I miss her....Enjoy her

Not to hijack...
Not to hijack my own thread but here is a pic of my RX4. You may have seen my posts here before. I love this car too. All I need now is are a mint 1984 RX7 SE with the optional 13B and a mint 1991 FC TII and I will be set. Maybe one day a 1967 Cosmo too.
74 RX4 Coupe all original paint, interior and 13B Rotary. Nothing except consumables have been changed. 33000Miles. One owner before me. She will look good next to my "new" FD RX7
