Getting an R2 tips needed?

Hi, I 'm interested in getting a 94 or 95 R2 any sugestions? I never see them in Autotrader.

That's because they're extremely rare. I've been to sevenstock for the last 2 years and I only spotted a couple there. Further more, I dont think Canada got the R2, just the 25th Aniversary package (black R1).

I suggest you buy the cleanest 3rd gen you can find regardless of the model. The differences between models are minimal.

There was an R2 in toronto on autorader for 35K last week, but it's gone now.

Spring rates are the same between R1 and Base/Touring. If you want the lightest and stiffest stock FD possible for Solo2, you should be looking for a 93 base model. It is 11lbs lighter than the R1 and 73lbs lighter than a Touring model.

The point I'm trying to make is that you're better off getting the cleanest, unmolested FD you can find, regardless of model... the differences between models are negligible.
