My gas gauge has stopped registering (might be related to a minor wheels off at Shannonville) Looked it up in my Haynes and went to access the sender through the panel above the drivers side rear wheel. There isn't one. How do I do this?

 

take off the driver side wheel, and look at the top rounded corner of the gas tank.
it's there is probably just buried under years of dirty, remember to press hard with your screw driver it's easy to strip these weathered screws
