Engine is shaking at idle

Engine is shaking at idle

Hi all i have a problem that just popped up out of no where the engine started shacking while idoling, not sure what the problem is exactly, i thought it was misfire so i changed the spark plugs, and i know its not apex seal cuz i haven't lost any power car is normal when i am driving it. only thing i can think off is a leak somewhere in the air system but i cant find it. do you guys have any idea what it might be

Look for a vaccum leak. Also check your tps

Is your car stock? Is it idling low? Check if your air pump is working/connected.

Marco suggests this because my car was doing this until he plugged my air pump back in - the plug had wiggled apart.



....I was coming in here to post that and seem knowledgable, but he beat me to it.

Or it could be a clogged cat. I've seen that happen to an fc before. The muffler got chunks of the cat stuck inside

So I took it to Marco's shop this morning to check it out, he did a compression test and it turned out to be the rear Apex seal. guess its rebuild time. Body work will have to wait sanjay.
