dyno'd my old FB

i went to the dyno today, thinking that i would lose some hp's after switching to a racing beat muffler(sounds great) and lowering the boost to 10psi..... and to my surprize i gained some hp's at the wheels... i got 215 wheel horsepower and 208 ft pounds of torque, any body want a magnaflow muffler that bolts up to a racingbeat twin presilencer? i cant believe i started with 82wheel hp, oh ya i did it on a mustang dyno, i wonder what it would it would do on a dynojet dyno?

it was a (kit) used from ebay, it had problems but atkins fixed it up, the timing gears would bind up when it got warm. i like thoes ports from above but i need more brapp, brapp, brapp, like its a big cam'd up V8.... its weird my 12a makes more hp at the wheels then my 5.0, and its more fun to drive (fuel economy is the same)... and its a sleeper, the cops dont even notice the car...

I suspect you being so close to sea level is a bonus to us folks higher up.

Which racing beat muffler did you use? The Roadracing (twin inlet) or the stock one?

They are pretty good fun. Good sound, reliability and above all, drivability.

the twin inlet was the full street port exhaust that has the twin pipes from front to back, with a presilencer on each pipe, they merge into 1 pipe right before the muffler.
