Anybody use a DNX muffler? Just wondering how they sound and whether they're too loud. Also what about the Tuned brand mufflers from Canadian Tire? I'm just trying to experiment and see which is best for under $200.

 

Go to Calgary Muffler (on 58th just off Mcleod) and ask about a "super Z" muffler. These are custom made, heavy duty and carry a lifetime warranty. They have a dual tip one which they can wel chrome tips on for the clean stock look.

The "Tuned" brand from canadian tire are a quality muffler, but not stainless steel packed like required for a rotary. They will burn out in a matter of weeks, or so I'm told. Your best bet is a Magnaflow. They are a little more expensive, but last a good long while on a rotary and sound great. A little loud, but what do you expect from a rotary. Unless you run a Racing Beat powerpulse muffler its going to be loud.
