Awesome, I'm down for that Joe. One day with less traffic and hopefully alot less bikers would be a godsend. Then we can hit the Skyway on the way down to the Keys. I missed it last year, and I don't intend to miss it again this year.

DRTHVDR can always meet us at the Pilot at the 21mm (or is it the 19) on the I75, where we stopped last year. I'm sure we will all want to tank up there.

I figured we meet you somewhere on I-75.
There's a town just South of the I-75 and 275 merger....Luna Pier. It's the last town before you get to Ohio.

And "classicauto"....Daniel and I don't rub...it's ONLY about the sex.
PS Which way are you and orion84gsl going?

I think we are all going Windsor. We suggested Niagara because it seemed shorter for the guys coming from the other side of Toronto. Last year they drove to Windsor and were pretty beat by the end of the day. I could see it in Ian's face, and I know the feeling quite well, so I thought we should try the other way to take a bit off of them, but I think they said they were alright with Windsor, so it'll be a full caravan down.

Thanks man. I may take someone up on the offer to stay the night before. We will see. Currently fighting like mad to start the rx7. The sequential ignition is not going to well. Spent at least 15 hours try to figure out the no start. Cannot set the timing. I may have to put it back to stock.

Terrh. Do you have any stock trailing coils that are good. I may need an extra set. I was told that the autronic cdi might fry them up pretty fast and it would be a good idea to have a spare. Don't want to be in the keys with a bad coil. Worst case I could disable the trailing's and use them as well.

I've got one or two trailing coils around at least, just let me know.

Have you tried bump starting it? Honestly it may just be flooded all to crap, a few hundred meters might kick it right over As long as its got spark at even roughly the right spot it should fire and run enough that you can get it zero'd...I've had bad luck trying to zero my car while cranking before just on the stock stuff, but it may have just been me...

I'll throw my hat in the ring as well. I will most likely have a spare bed, and if not there's always a couch, and I'm a little closer to Windsor. So if anyone wants to get a little furthur down the road before stopping, PM me and we'll get it worked out. Plus I might need an extra set of hands for last minute prep if I'm late getting back from wherever work sends me.

That's what I was doing when I first got my car and the battery was too weak to fire it up. Worked like a charm, every time.

Ignition related. Been fighting with it since I've installed the CDI box. Its running funny.... well at least sounds funny to me and running lean. Not sure whats going on. Worst case last minute put back stock system.

Don't you have a passenger already? I would go for sure still if I good jump in with someone.

my passenger seat is empty.

If you need any parts or whatever to make your car go I have a complete 10AE here I can lend stuff from, and probably have spares anyways. Especially of ignition stuff.

Still two weeks until departure, so you have lots of time to get her up and running. Get cracking.
