GTA Second Gen values for good to excellent condition examples
So, we're not allowed to post for sale ads without a price on them. I can respect that.
I created this thread hoping to get some decent feedback from the local rotary community.
So what is a second gen worth these days? Let's say pretty much stock, everything mechanical working well, body/paint in good shape overall. Or a modified one, but well sorted and not hacked up together.
I know I'm leaving the question quite open, but maybe some of you can add details or examples and throw a fair price. I tried getting a feel through autotrader, but too few examples.
I should add a pic of my car to use as an example, but it's in storage under a cover. But will work on that if the thread gains some legs.

I'm not really able to answer your question however the biggest factor is if it's NA, TII, TII swap or vert. Also automatic vs manual seems to have a big influence on price. There also seems to be a bigger premium showing up for the very clean, all original cars. Once that info is known, it's easier to start to gauge price. But nice FC's seem to be gaining value over the last few years.

Gone are the days that FCs are cheap.
Over the last few years Verts have been rising in price significantly .
I paid about 650$ for a non running 89 vert auto but I got it running and use it as a daily in the summer.
I have not been able to find a vert running less than 5k. Even parts cars are around 1500$ minimum.
My car needs paint but the top is good and runs great and best of all passes etest easy and I would ask for around 5-7k if I did a repaint on the rear quarters (white paint flake).
If I manual swapped it I would ask more just because it's an S5 vert no airbag etc so I would ask a premium but I'll never sell.
I'd expect a clean coupe non turbo would be worth less than a clean vert and a clean turbo would be worth around 10k.
4-5k coupe/5-7k vert/8-10k turbo.

FC's are pretty much all gone from Kijiji/Autotrader now. Running/complete cars even more sparse. Pnoy's price estimates sounds about right.
One thing to note would be the added value of a pre-1988 FC.
Being emissions test exempt is a big plus.
That being said, if I were to ever sell my T2 swapped 1986 GX, I'd take no less that 10k as it sits. (AEM Standalone needs to be wired in, injectors installed, FMIC piping done, battery relocated and tuned).
A little bit more when I finish everything else. My car's underbody is about as clean as you're gonna get although the paint has seen better days.

I've been looking to buy an Integra GSR or Evo V for close to a year now and I've had no luck finding a good one. Most are owned by kids that run them in to the ground and can barely spell when I'm trying to have a conversation with them. Most of these guys expect me to drive to their house and hand them a wad of cash without asking any questions about the car.

Everyone's estimates are pretty much on par for an average car. A very clean example turbo 2 (not swapped) should bring a premium. It's hard to find a good buyer though. I tried selling mine last year, but all I got were a bunch of dreamers wanting it cheap. I did have it listed on the high side price wise, but find me another clean original paint turbo 2 with under 100k and making 300whp.
