Flares mean you can run wider tires. I understand where that rule comes from since people could run wider tires (even if treaded) than normally allowed on their car, giving them an advantage, and therefore bumping them up a class. So, might as well run slicks since you're being bumped up to the class that DOES run them lol.
but yes, I was there with coolkidsclub drifting, perhaps next time I'll meet some of you, haha. I particularly enjoyed the R35 getting escorted onto the track.
