Cost for used hubs (For a conversion)
I'm looking at what kind of cost it would be to convert from the 4 bolt to the 5 bolt hubs?
Just the parts, I will do all of the install work.
Thanks

well you would rightfully need the brakes that come with the hubs.
Used parts..say 2-300 if you play your cards right.Get new pads.maybe rotors.(inspect rotors and pads anways to see of they are good to run.)
On the outside about 600 max.(That is what I see on here.)
That would be front spindles,4 pot brakes, rotors.
Rear spindle assembly,rear caliper,rotors.
Don't forget the brake lines(short 6 inch pieces for the 4 piston front calipers.)
OH,it would also be a good time to figure out of you are going to switch the DTSS bushing and eliminate it.That would be another 60 bucks and a Shitload of frustration if you do it yourself, without shop tools!

Its not quite like that if your converting your 84. None of the first gens came with 5 bolt rims and you wouldn't be replacing just hubs in the back, you'd have to get custom axle shafts or swap the whole rear diff assembly. You could have a machine shop make you some wheel adapters or just swap to the gsl-se 4x114.3 bolt pattern which is a far more common bolt pattern than the 84 gs 4x110.

My statement was for an FC ,seeing that the OP did not bother to post any series of car and often the 4 bolt to 5 bolt conversion is done on this series.
I guess I was imagining that "frozen moustache"....(theres a joke about that..but it may not come out correctly in type..!)

The car is in my signature.
Sorry I didn't make that more clear.
It would be for swapping from a FB to FC hubs/brakes etc.
I was planning on just getting the entire rear axle and everything bolted to it. Then it was just a matter of getting what's necessary for the front.

It is my understanding you need GSL-SE front spindles to fit 5 bolt hubs, rotors (with a spacer) and 4 pot calipers. FCs have independent rear suspension not a live axle like an FB, so it wouldn't be like swapping a "complete assembly" into your car. You could have 5 bolt axle shafts made, but again I believe you need a GSL-SE rear end to fit the calipers and big rotors.

Maybe part of what needs answered is the why behind the idea? If you're looking for better brakes, converting to the GSL-SE front spindles/hubs/brakes, and rear axle complete with brakes seems an easier route (maybe not easy to find, but more in the realm of cost effective and DIY. If it's about wheel choices, the GSL-SE hubs do offer more choice, although probably still less than 5x114.3
I too initially assumed this was about a FC 4 to 5 bolt conversion, just because that's fairly common, and I've not heard of it on a FB before that I recall.

Part of the reason I went with the 5 lug swap was to get the option of more wheel choice.
The pattern is more "workable" for a variety of wheels.
That 4 bolt pattern minimizes your selection of wheels.
If that pattern is 4x110 then you are pretty well snookered to get wheels.

A thought about wheel choice, is if you're already looking at a bunch of money for machining hubs/axles and so on, you could get some custom wheels made instead. E.g.: High performance racing rims, aluminum forged wheels
It'd set you back a couple Gs easy, but they are very nice, lightweight rims, which benefits both acceleration and handling. I'd love a set of the 16x7.5" RTs for my car.
