Car trailer?

So I need to tow this "car" I'm planning on purchasing in the near future, so I was wondering if anyone might have a car trailer I could rent from them for a day. Would be best if the trailer was in london, because that's where the car is gonna end up. Thanks

^ They do one way rentals with their full size car trailers. I believe the dolly's have to go back to the original facility, but don't quote me on that.

Hey,

There's a reason people don't rent out their trailers. The short end of the stick is your insurance doesn't cover their trailer, and the owners insurance doesn't cover anyone else using it as far as I know. I've got a flat bed in the GTA and I won't let anyone "use" it unless its behind my truck with me driving.

Be very careful of U-Haul. inspect the crap out of it before you sign anything I've had hitch ***** come loose, surge brakes not work, and all sorts of crap that was supposed to be "inspected" and "road worthy"

Just be careful, and I'm sure someone local to you will be able to help out for the price of a lunch and the cost of fuel.

That's not entirely true.

In Ontario your vehicle's liability extends to any trailer attached to it. Unlike provinces such as BC where all trailers need to be insured themselves, in Ontario there is no "trailer policy". However, it is correct that if I have collision and comprehensive on my vehicle and I have a trailer attached to it, the physical damage coverages do not extend to the trailer. For physcial damage protection on a trailer it needs to be listed on an insurance policy, but no premium for liability will be generated for the trailer.

Additionally, if you do have your trailer insured on your policy for physical damage protection and you lend it to someone else, your insurance absolutely covers damages to that trailer. It's no different than if you lent your friend your car and he crashed it, coverage still applies.

nothing left to say after cloudpimps post. his is completely accurate.

I'd never lend my trailer to anybody, maybe if I had a cheap-o flatbed and knew the person really well but when you start having thousands$$$ tied up in a stupid trailer it really makes you not wanna lend it out.

Uhaul dolly/trailers are cheap to rent but more expenisve 1 way - just ask when you're renting.

Where's the car have to go from and to? If it's out near my neck of the woods, I might be willing to tow it for you in my enclosed.
