Just remember that you get what you pay for when it comes to a paint job. Sure you could get Maaco to do it for $2k but it won't be a quality job and you'll regret it later.
I find that Toronto folk seem to have a different idea of what "near the GTA" means than I do, but the only shop I trust is ClassicAuto out in Hagersville, which from my perspective is "near the GTA". It's certainly nearer the GTA than it is to the NCR! Joe over at ClassicAuto is currently doing the complete teardown-and-rebuild of my FB. That would be on the exact opposite end of the spectrum from my first example, leaning more towards the "you spent how much to paint your car?!?" end of the scale
Of course, that's because the entire car has been disassembled, every last nut and bolt removed before body treatment even started. That said, as far as I'm concerned it's worth every penny.
So depending on what you want, your paint job could cost anywhere from $2k-$16k, it's really hard to give you a specific price on the forum. I'd find the shop you want to trust first, then get into a conversation with them about what you want to do and how much it will be.
