yeah its pissing me off. Not that I dont like the warm
weather, but I would rather it stay somewhere in
the middle instead of jumping from -40's one week
to -10 to 0 the next week, because I get used to
the warm weather and then the cold comes and it
sucks.

Ourxseven, dont you wish you had your 7 out when
that girl was at 7 eleven instead of the winter beater.

Finally putting mine in storage tomorrow - having it in the garage is just too tempting. I'm hoping it'll make the wait seem a lot shorter... probably won't though *sigh*.

Hrm, bumping an ancient thread after reading through it. . .I've dealt with temps more than twice as cold as everyone stated here. . .

lol even with a block heater, battery blanket, oil pan heater the ol' S14 would sound like a train wreck on startup. . .but it would still start .. .

Funny. I can exactly reuse my post from almost 2 years ago when this was a current thread.

-31*C here this morning. Sucks. Although a friend had the furnace in her new home fail overnight. Was told by the installer they'd have someone out Thursday. THAT would suck (got it resolved over the phone tho').

We've had snow for just over a week - blew in with a vengeance last Monday night. I mowed my lawn the weekend before that.

Apparently, Calgary was officially the 2nd coldest place on earth today - all the radio stations talked about it non-stop. We got beat out by the South Pole.

It's been -30 for the last few days in Alberta. It warmed up today and my first gen won't start. It turns over sort of fires then bogs out any ideas how to start it?

Was sitting just under 0* today, so I went outside and changed a tie rod and the rear brake lines on my sisters hand-me-down 01 Ford Escape.
