Right now in Mildmay Ontario it's about -18 degrees celcius, and they're calling for a possibility of snow squalls yet tonight. I'm in good spirits though, I picked up Eibach springs, and a spoiler for the RX-7 today. At this rate I might have all the components rounded up to rebuild my suspension when spring arrives.

8 degrees here in London (England) and the flowers are coming out. Ironically I spent the day skating since I work at an outdoor icerink. People here also complain that it's too damn cold and that they have had enough of "winter".

Is the bus strike still on?????

It's minus 20 or so in Kingston, watching the Daytonna 24 hours and realizing that there are places without snow. My RX 7 is in the driveway in a snow bank, but I have to put a clutch master cylinder in it and it'll wait until it's at least plus 10, but hey we're tough.

It was -23C here last night in Calgary, but overnight it's warmed up to -17C, and I can tell from my headache a chinook will be arriving shortly.

In Ottawa its about -15C. However, last it night it got cold enough (-25C, maybe?) to make me leave the garage in search of warmer places.

@RXcetera - bus strike is going strong. Plus last week parliament ruled they would not intervene with the strike in any way... going to be a while still. *sigh*

I'm loving it! Not having a 7 frozen over in the garage is strangely theraputic. In fact, not even having or needing a car is kinda nice. There's lots of RX-8s around but I've only seen one FD, a 1998.

I was in Portugal last week and spotted this on a highway into Lisbon:

INSANE. How can a city, a capital no less, function without public transport?? Bet they don't even let people use the bus lane either right? SO glad I left when I did.

lmao - they opened up bus lanes for the most part but two friends of mine have gotten warnings for using it during rush hour with the cop saying "taxis still have priority". Its getting to the point where I doubt I'll ever bother getting my bus pass back - summer isnt ALL that far away.

Rxcetera,

Keep rubbing it in how it's "cold" in England!

In case you were wondering what the sign is saying "If you're looking for a used car, at a competive price, with a warranty and confidence, it's here you should enquire. Used Entreposto

Yes I was wondering.. LOL
I think it was -24 here first thing this morning or so.. Rx-8 is still looking pretty in the garage though. Gotta admit. Having it stored in my garage isn't hurting me this year. Probably has something to do with the fact that it's in my "new" garage in my "new house.

Rxcetera,

Oh yeah, of course. There are a few words that may be different, but otherwise very similar.

Today was waierd in the morning we had a very warm win, got up to like +3 @ 7am. then during the day and afternoon, the wind got cold, and got down to -8, and now that the sun went down, its back up to 0. Weird *** weather in calgary.

Like they say.

Its warming up to balmy -10 today and is supposed to be 2 on saturday .

It may be cold here but the chicks are hardy . Last night after a late hockey game I go into 7-11 and this 20 yr old mini-eva longoria is standing outside in -24 talking talking talking in her get-a-guy clothes and no complaining . You want chicks that dont complain about little things .... find a winnipeg girl.

HAHAHA I love going to Winnipeg. I've got some friends there. It has only been bad once while I was there, and I couldn't get my truck started so I could leave for 2 hours. Here it's not too bad, I just wish it would stop snowing. For some reason I have yet to see a plow on the streets for the 2 days I've been home.
