Canadian FD in us

I search and all i could find was how to import a us car to Canada so..

How hard is it to get a Canadian FD in into the US and does it hurt the value of the car since it is not a US vin or vehicle.

Thanks for your time

David

You'll have to check with your transport regulations but my assumption is that Canada is tougher and therefore any car that was produced for both countries should easily be admissable into the US. A Canadian FD should be worth a bit more (depending of course on condition, mileage, care, etc) because they are pretty rare compared to the US and some had extra options not found in the US.

Agreed.
Remember that a Canadian FD will likely have about half of the mileage of a comparable US FD due to being garaged every winter. More or less.

There was a thread a few years ago in the 3rd gen forum about the differences in the models between the 2 countries.

You may be the only FD owner on your block with headlight pissers LOL.
