Exclamation The Canadian Buyer, Seller and Shop Feedback Thread

I for one think it is a great idea to have a thread we can all use to report on our experiences buying and selling nation wide.

Anyone with positive or negative experiences with individuals or shops please post in this thread.

Lets keep this constructive and support anything we say with facts. The point is to help each other not slander or create drama, so keep that in mind before posting.

We are all adults and should act accordingly. How you conduct yourself reflects the type of person you are, so lets keep discussions on point. Profanity and threats have no place in this thread.

i think when we post a reply, we should state the full name of the shop/garage to make searching easier.
though it would be a lot better if we had a sub forum section dedicated to shops and garages like in the classifieds.
otherwise, this thread would be flooded with replies talking about different shops, and different people will throw in their opinions, then thread will become a mess and no one will be able to find actual useful information

This thread is locked while the CDN moderators discuss the effectiveness and realism of supporting such a thread. I for one, don't support such a thread because it captures only a small segment of a shops customer base. For instance, two forum members whom report poor or expensive work might not reflect upon the positive experiences of twelve other customers who don't utilize this forum. But please be patient we are looking at the issue and possible solutions in accordance with forum rules.

After much discussion amongst CDN forum moderators it has been determined that a thread such as this will create more trouble then justice. If a shop maintains a Trader rating then use it to voice your opinion of their service, that's what it is there for.

Do not attempt to create such a thread as it will be immediately locked and warnings applied where merited.
