Uh huh...and if the car conforms to the rulesand regulations set in place for the car to be LEGAL to drive on the road, you've got nothing to worry abou and the cop has nothing he can do, so whats the worry?

Its called noise pollution. But the bigger factor at work here is that at a certain decibel level, your car will drown the horn of the guy who is pulling out in front of you....

As finite and nit-picky as the laws are, they are there for a reason and do serve a purpose. If no one did ANYTHING about loud exhausts I wouldn't be able to get to sleep at night because the rice driving down the highway by my house would wake the dead.....but since they do enforce it I have only a small number of people driving past that are louder then a semi on his jake brake.......

SURPRISE SURPRISE!

1000 tickets handed out on the Canada Day weekend and none for street racing.

I am surprised the guy that got clocked at 200 kph did not get profiled as a street racer ......

Of those 1000 tickets, all the offenders are doing dumb *** things ......
No belts, DUI, speeding .....

maybe there is hope ....
