I got my exhaust leak figured out. The intake gasket wasn't completely covering the egr port below the intake ports on the center iron. Can't wait to hear it once I get it together.

 

Heh heh heh... One of my co-workers (Cobi) lives just down the block from you and came to work Monday morning telling me about the guy down the street who just put a blower on his RX7. ("Cool ******' car, man!")

I'm still waiting for my film back (yep, was shooting the old fashioned way) - Mackenzie Walmart's film processing machine has been down for a couple days :S

I realized it's been over five years since I dropped off film anywhere - felt a bit odd. Then not having it ready in an hour has added to the old-fashioned feel

 

I'll take film over a memory card any day. Its just simply the best quality in my opinion.

 

So.. My Fd is finally up and running with a fresh rebuild WOOP!... When is the next meet!? hah.

 

Congrats!!! I got the exhaust leak fixed on mine, just had to switch to a different intake gasket, sounds sooooooo much better!

 

Nice! Mine is going, still needs work, but shes on the go... When is the next meet? haha

Oh and my car is so god damn loud!!!! like crazy loud...maybe the exhaust setup isn't that great? not enough backpressure? its huge... i need someone to check my **** out!! haha

 

I am free friday for a bit.

 

Bummer I missed the meet...had to babysit the plumber working on my basement.
I am still grappling with boost issues, but the FD runs OK. Will try to make the next get together.

Long overdue to post, but I got my photos back. Not great for the most part - I suspect that the 5+year old roll of film might have contributed to the graininess and "greyness" of the shots. But now I've got fresh film in my SLR so next time will be better

Ya it was me! I was trying out a theory for a new engine degreaser! All natural! Non-toxic! That engine bay looked a bit dirty compared to Hugh's so I thought I would help him out a bit:o)
