Calgary Ferrari - RIP

I know this is a little off topic;

During that flash rainstorm that lasted a couple minutes, I was cruising down deerfoot.

There was also a Yellow 360 Spider cruising as well.

To make this short, he hydroplaned, lost control and did a few 360's on the wall (no pun intended). He did not appear to be speeding.

The car is totally written off. I cant seem to be able to load the craptacular picture I took, so I was wondering if anyone else has heard anything/seen/photo'd this crash.

Taking photos wasn't the first thing on my mind. Nobody was hurt seriously to my knowledge.

It happend after the glenmore exit on southbound deerfoot closer to deerfoot meadows. Car came to a rest right under the bridge.

Yeah, I read through their comments and I would have to agree. I have never been on that site before so I really don't know how they are normally.

Thats the one.

Those guys on that forum just go to show you jealousy doesnt buy you a Ferrari.

I had to put my Jeep in AWD because I was being pulled all over the road. I'd like the emphisize being an eye witness (albeit from a distance) that the driver of that car did nothing wrong. With the body kit and how low the car was to the pavement were probably the key contributing factors.

There was alot of water round there.

Thanks alot for finding that, I never would have.

Yeah no worries. Those people are also probably just jumping to conclusions since they weren't actually on the road. Anytime you see a fancy car like that smashed up your first reaction is that that person has too much money and not enough skill/knowledge, which as you are saying, probably wasn't the case since the roads were that brutal. Also low pro performance tires aren't so great in water.

I had a similar experience when my Miata transformed into a surf board. As you can imagine it was quite alarming. I ended up in the ditch, with no damage. Was one hell of a ride on the way though.
