Calgary F1 fans - F2001 on Display Downtown
Just a heads-up to any F1 followers in Calgary. The Ferrari F2001 is on display in the lobby of the Shell Tower downtown. It's been there since May16...dunno how much longer, though.
Granted, it should be called a 'replica', but it is made up of basically all original bits. Only really missing the engine (which is out of sight anyway) and some body panels are fastened with rivets.
No ropes, so you can stick your head into the air inlet if you like, but no touchy.
Amazing CF suspension pieces, aero pieces, wheels/tires and steering wheel and the surprisingly small overall size of the car.
If you like racing, this is worth checking out. Shell Tower is just west of the Westin Hotel on 4th ave at 3rd st.
