My bose door speaker ain't workin'

Any ideas?
I pulled the door cover off and got speaker access and banged on it with
a hammer but I think it's more than a loose wire.

I'm in Calgary, where should I take it? Should I abandon the system?

Thanks,
1994 RX7 with the accursed WAVE.

Most likely the amp which is located inside the speaker enclosure. They are prone to failure (I've had to replace 1 door and need 1 sub amp). Dont bother going to Mazda since they want 2000$ per side. Just post on the US buy/sell forum and you'll find tones of people with them ready to sell for 10-20$. Or ditch the system and sell me your sub amps .

Have you checked the see whether the amp is getting its proper signal on the red and white lines? Also have you checked for power and ground on the black/yellow and black/red lines? I fixed one just last night, the pin that carries ground to the amp was all corroded. If you need help, just send a message.
