I ran into dansuxx today and let him know. He might be able to make it depending on time. Have we decided a time yet? And location?

lets go with 7pm, then dinner, traffic and daily plans are out of the way. After we could consider a cruise to Bowness park as a possibility

I'm still not able to make it to this meet, but I have a few books I'd like to unload at the next gathering. They're free to a good home.

Mazda - RX-7 1988 Workshop Manual
Haynes - Mazda RX-7 - 1986 to 1991
Chilton - Mazda 1978 to 1989 - All U.S. and Canadian Models of RX-7, GLC, etc

I'll bring them to the next meet unless someone has a strong desire to come by and take them off my hands.

I'm still in. Even if nobody else shows up I'm going. I've lived here 24 years and never once had Peter's food. I'm going to rectify that regardless of who shows up.

I once was a roofer...i dont get it.....

Cant wait till mazda in the mountains. Funny thing is, is that this guy that just a first gen crx and is now a member of RPR is coming to the MITM with his brother and his Savanna RX7. Its wierd how small the world is.

I had fun.

On another note to the FB guys....I just spotted a 83 GSL in pick-n-pull that has a RB header on it in good shape. I've already got 2 headers so it's no use to me but I figured I'd mention in in the hopes somebody doesn't have to spend the money I did.

The interior is black and complete, all glass is good except for the windshield. The left side is banged up but the right side is fine.

Also has an LSD ready for the taking.

Sorry for the info off topic to this post, but since this thread is Calgary guys and FB parts are getting harder and harder to find I figured I'd mention it.

I'm heading over there soon on some unrelated scrounging but I'll be sure to take a look. Thanks for the heads-up.

Save me the hood and passenger door ...if you can. I want to use them for a fiberglass mould.

I scored the ignitors and four practically brand-new tires, not to mention a rear bumper and two snow tires with (expendable) steel rims for the Mazda B2200 pickup.

When we left the car still had the engine, exhaust, under-rad oil cooler (the rad was toast, but this '83 had been converted to the pre-'83 oil cooler from the crappy bee-hive set-up used on 12As from '83 to '85), transmission (5-spd). limited slip diff and all brake assemblies. The dash is black and in very good shape with no cracks.

The seats, passenger door and hood were all scooped by forum members. Of course, this was as of Sunday afternoon. Who knows how much of this car remains after another day of being picked over.

BTW Ctrl, did you get your tools back?

Ya I woulda been all over that header. Thats over a 20HP increase on a more or less stock motor. You think your wife's car goes now, throw the header on there.

$300 header for $15? You can't justify not getting it.
