Need suggestions for a meeting place.


I think the Fish Hatchery off of 9th Ave S.E. Might be a place to try. I havent been there in years.

Its a park. You know, with a parking lot, trees, bike paths and such.

 

I;m not going to be able to make it, as I'm organizing a reunion that's happening on the 22nd. I'll try for the next meet.

Well damn. We have three 1st gens. One has a blown engine, the other needs a transmission and the third is in storage until the big move next month.

Not that any of this matters since I have to DJ a wedding/ reception that day...

 

Depending how the night before goes (bachelor party...) id like to come out and meet some of you guys. I think 1pm should be enough sleepin time, but you never know.

 

I'll be there. And he is talking about the "bird sanctuary". This may be a confusing location for some though. How about Peter's Hamburgers. Can't beat a famous shake.

I just bought another 7 I liked the first one so much.

The first one I got it an 85 gsl that was auto but switched to a 5spd, had rb exhaust added and an aluminum flywheel. What a huge difference that made.

The white 82 gls I picked up last weekend in edmonton for a project car. It has RB exhaust on it what other mods I have no idea, although having driven them both back from edmonton at a steady 140-150 the entire way I can safely say the gas mileage on the 82 sucks compared to the gas guzzling 85.

Count me in, which should I bring?

 

Bring both, do you need a second driver provided for you?

 

I got a roomie who's a big camaro fan. As soon as I got back from edmonton with the car I tossed him the keys and told him to go for a ride. Needless to say he now believes in the power of rotary. He wont race his multiport 2.8 efi camaro against either of my 7's...lol. I'll get him to drive.

Btw, did somebody buy Jaymez's car? Saw a FD yesterday with the same hood I saw it with at mazda-mountians last year.

Also spotted a black fb southbound the other night on dearfoot, red fb today 4th ave and 52nd NE, a dirty red fc northbound on 52nd @ 8th SE...all in two days. It's nice to see the 7's coming out to play for the season.

That was me you saw... The hood will eventually be painted to match the car, but the car budget is getting kinda tapped at the moment. And your FB looked clean!

 

I think at some point we need to respect the new owner and quit calling this Jaymez's car.

 

So I would like to go to this because I havn't attended any of these meetings yet, but i work till 5 so how late do you think it will go.

 

I can't make it, busy getting drunk at an "end of exams party"

BUT I really want to go to one of these meets, never done it. Maybe reschedule for a later date? I dunno I'm sure there'll be a couple this summer
