Calabogie Motorports Park July 29 photos

The weather was beautiful today to watch some racing at Calabogie. i took a bunch of pictures until my memory card was full.

yeh awsome pics aaron. i spent the day puting a clutch in my new mx6. haha. looks like it would have been a good day to come watch.

thanks guys.
yeah great to see rotary power on the track.
unfortunately the only rotary powered car to finish i believe was the can-saf 3 rotor (which sounded absolutely beautiful, and was quite fast). the #117 3rd gen (from Ottawa) was doing quite well coming from the back of the field, until and unfortunate incident.

We still finished. The car still drove, but barely due to some differential damage after being hit.

oh i did not know that. i had seen the car go into the pits the second time and thought the race was not finished yet.

was bodywork and diff the extent of the damage then?

Bodywork, diff, exhaust leak, possible cracked exhaust manifold, sunburn, and hangover....that was the full extent of the damage.
