Dunnville August 6th HOLIDAY MONDAY

We are holding a FULL DAY 9-5 Track day on August 6th.
Its the holiday monday, so none of you can use the excuse that your working.
For the full day the price is $120 per car, with a $25 charge for a second driver.
Im going to do my best this time to cap it at 35 cars.
We will also run groups of fast cars and slow cars so that people dont get run down by mean lookin GTRs, S14s, 944s and FDs continuously.

I will also do my best to get a BBQ out so we can have a hot lunch on site. we will have to charge a bit for food, buck a burger or something...

Im working on setting up some sort of a reliable timing system and we will see about a prize for the fastest car...

Day is a go rain or shine
I would greatly appreciate it if everyone could be there by 8:45 at the latest so that I can run a proper drivers meeting.

Please visit the website for rules and further details.

and if you would like to sign up please email me at dipstrackdays at hotmail.com

Thanks
Derek

Theres a track in Dunnville? Hmm maybe I'll see it next weekend when I'm skydiving. If I have the guts to jump.

That depends on whose beside you when you go sliding from the inside of a turn to the outside of the track

PLEASE bring a vehicle that is safe and controllable.
there is no drifting allowed during this event.
1 spin off the track usually costs us about 20 minutes of clean up. So if the tires arnt good enough for you to even stay on the track, please get some better ones.

Yes there is.

And you WILL see it if you skydive.

Actually......you may not see it. There's been skydiver's land on the track so they must not have seen it either!!!

Derek - I'll email you later on in the week if it looks like I can go...pending parts delivery that is

I thought that might be the case. They are jsut some 175/70/r13's, so they are not the stickiest things out their. Between street tire, econo tire, and narrow, high speed vs corver vs drift is not looking too good lol.

Maybe next time when I have some racing slicks mounted

the other option is go with the novice group! You would not need to go fast...explore the potential of your current setup and learn from it. Then look forward to the next track day with dip knowing what you need to drive a little bit faster.......and so on.

Jim,

I'll be up north that weekend. Also the 7 is waiting on bushings. I might stop by if I'm back on Monday.
