BFG Sponsorship

Some cool news (at least for my team)! Today I was informed that my team has been picked up by BF Goodrich for the rest of the season! They are suppling us with their new G-Force R1 tire! This is the newest tire in the DOT race compound wars and if it is anything like the previous tire it will be awesome! They are also providing us with one set of KDWS street tires for rain tires! This means if you need some R-Compound tires you should look in the classified section for some Hoosier deals.................lol

Got the new BFG tires and they are really cool. The new g-Force R1 can be mounted anyway you want, and rotated to any corner of the car. That will make for way longer life cycles. All I can say is watch out Hoosier!!

I'd pick BFGoodrich over any tire for my cars and trucks. My Jeep rides on BFG's and my Rx-7 will soon as they get in.

Doesn't Toyo sponsor the CTCC and make you run Proxes RA1s?

It was easier to get the tires from BFG than hats etc! Actually it is so late in the year that most of the PR stuff was gone. I got a dozen t shirts (french writing on them!) 1 hat and a dozen crests to sew onto my team shirts. I have completed a deal to sell BFG tires through the dealership!

I've got an older set of R1's (maybe 2 or 3 years old).. . they're a really awesome tire. They've lasted quite a while too, I bought them used with about 2/32 tread left, I've been to a few autocrosses and a lapping day and they haven't worn at all.

Actually BFG hasent made competition R1's in like 10 years! Kumho bought the mold of the old R1 and called it the "Victoracer" The new R1 has only been available for the last month or so in North America. BFG has made the KD and KDW which up until now were their stickest tires. The new R1 is a derivative of the Trans-Am series slick.
