car sponsorships

i was wondering about various car sponsorships.
does anyone have one for their rx-7?
i was bored last night so i applied to http://www.carsponsorships.com/
has any one else done this?
or would you reccomend talking to local businesses for sponsorships

I am sponsored by a local Audio/Aftermarket shop in saskatchewan... But So far it hasn't really done alot for me.

Don't be surprised if you get a call back asking for an admin fee of $100US...then they'll promise you great deals on parts if you do what they want. In the end you'll get the equivalent of a retailer's price on parts (better than public) but the company still makes money. If you want a sponsorship for your car, you have to work hard to get it. The site's a scam.

Yup sure is tough, me and two of my freinds have a "car Club" and we searched and searched and searched finally we got a few different sponsorships, and in the end we had to go to EVERY EVENT in the province that this particular chain of buisnesses put on... which was fine to me.

I wouldnt mine been Sponsered , but I havnt heard of many people doing it.
