The reason that i'm asking for the longer period kinda is because talking to Brian, he has only worked on one MS before, so it might be a little challenging to try to get used to the configuration hence me taking more time.
Just got to work, in the torrential down pour, pretty happy with my cars performance put down 250whp, and about 230LBFT. Not too shabby for the stock IC and turbo, have a few things to work out.
Thanks to Joe (classicauto) for setting this up, and Ian as well, Jo for providing us with a great facility, and of course Brian, wouldn't have been much of a dyno day with out him, enjoy your Canadian "funny money".
It was good to meet Chris, and Nick, good to see you got it back together quickly, Thanks for to Nik for all the insight on the boost controller issue.

It's only on 10psi, I want to run more, I know I can, because I ran up to 12-13 on the stock fuel system, but Brian was being a little femine, if he hits you in the arm to tell you to let off just drill him in the face haha J/K
Oh and remember this is a Mustang dyno... apparently it reads lower... as far as I am concerned it doesn't matter, but I will let the big boys pout.
Chris's car pulls like a moffo! His wastegate system is flawless. Its too bad due to fuel pulsations that chris never got a chance to pull past 9psi 6000rpm. At that range it put down over or around 300rwhp. Not even working that turbo one bit. It would have been nice to see 15psi to 18psi on that thing.
Good of BDC to notice this.
Nismo,
Since your car took so long my spot was missed. Your a dead man!

Didn't actually have time. I think we packed it in around 8:00pm. If we started my car we would be there till at least mid night. It was already a 12hr day and sitting in a shop with a rotary car running for that long really knocks you out! We are lucky to have some spare time. Classicauto's car's ignition problem may be solved so it will be nice to put that back on the dyno some time as well. (CAS might have been his issue all of this time.)
...as for me, I saw 243 around @ 10 psi, but I had my issues too; in my case, it was boost creep as high as 14 psi
Kudos to Brian for a fantastic job on my car; driveability has never been this good, and the raw stench of rich, raw sewage from the tailpipes is almost completely gone....lol
Kudos also to Joe from Dragonwerks for his tireless dynamometer support...
Get your cars ready folks...a lot of time is spent needlessly fiddling with little mechanical issues

Yeah everything is going well so far, but I'd like to iterate a point.
Everyone has to accomidate eachother. Within reason, stick to the time's you've been alloted. They're alloted for reason.
If your car's experiencing problems on the dyno, sure - take a some time to sort it out but if you're running into other people's time too far you have to call it quits and allow the next person to run. I had to do this, its not a big deal. Issues can arise but KEEP YOUR TIME REASONABLE. When it come's down to it everyone is responsible for their own car, and if you're cutting into other peoples times too deeply (no one's going to flip over 20 minutes) you're muscling out someone for their time.
Each person has only paid for 3 hours of dyno time and I don't want to continue to take advantage of Jo Dimarco's good graces and keep him there past our agree'd (and paid) time.
But nearly everyone aside from myself has made out alright thus far. Wednesday will be the last runs I do. I've already had the random ignition events try to take my car's life 4 seperate times, I don't know how many more kicks I'll get at the cat.
But thanks to everyone, especially Jo for being so reasonable with us and DONATING over 6 hours of his shop and dyno time to our group. You should all (coughcough) give Jo a HUGE thanks!

The post I just made was to address a reason why Ian's car didn't even get tuned.
And yes, Ian's car shouldn't have needed much. Its already been Kan tuned and ran at 400whp for years. Just needed the meth dialed in and maybe a few tweaks here and there. But Brian had issues with the E8 software (his wasn't working or he didn't have it - not sure I wasn't there at the time) as well, so its tough to say what really went on.

Joe, don't worry I will make things right with Ians car, I will reimburse him partially for the extra I used, but I honestly thought I had the dyno til 3pm, not 2pm, I found out otherwise from Charn last night, don't need meanial crap like this getting in the way of friendships.
When I get back from vacation I will have a talk with Ian.
Cheers,
Kevin

My car went on today. As seen below. She made 27 pulls. Pull 24 blew off an intercooler hose and pull 27 resulted in a major exhaust leak at the manifold. We were just starting to turn the wick up when the leak prevented us from going any further. She was tuned to 11.5psi and put down a raw hp of 317. I don't know what that translates to on a dynojet so I intend to find out once I fix the exhaust leak. I will have to wait for another tuning session to get to the 15psi tune I wanted. All in all I am very happy.
Thanks to Brian, Joe and Jo. Oh and thanks to Jim for eating, drinking and sleeping see evidence below.

Oh and finally a pic of my old ride. It was nice to be on the same tuning day as her. Andrew has done a great job with her.
