BC Haltech

Does anyone know of any shops in the Vancouver/Vancouver Island area who can tune a Haltech, maybe install it too if I encounter problems?

I believe RG Racing in Coquitlam sells Haltech and they have a very good tuner.

RG charges $800 or so for an install...seems a bit high?

Depending on what all needs to be done, that is probably pretty reasonable. Espicially if you need them to wire it up and fully tune it. It will take a few hours just to wire it, plus a few hours to tune it on the dyno. I don't know what is needed with a Haltec (I have a Megasquirt) but installing a standalone and making it run well takes a fair bit of time. This way you will get the job done right and your car will run well.

I want to do it myself, but I'm in College, so if I **** up, then its a year before I can get another one...then after school I might tackle the custom work and DIY stuff as I will have more room for mistakes.
Thanks
