Good to hear! I finally rolled my rear fenders so hopefully I won't have any rubbing issues in the back anymore.

I'm very interested in seeing your fenders.

The weather is calling for cloudy with showers. I've never done an autoX in the rain. It'll be interesting.

50% chance of scattered showers as of this morning, so it looks like it will be rather moist. I suspect I will have traction issues.

You always have traction issues. Oddly enough, wet courses usually end up with more consistent lap times, because everyone is concentrating so hard on not sliding all over the place. You'd be surprised how fast some cars can go in the wet though.

It was a great day, despite the rain. Actually most of the rain was only falling when the novices were running. The 2nd group of experienced drivers had a dry course, then a slightly damp one on our next two runs.

The course was a bit odd. It was just big enough that I needed to go to 2nd, but too small for 2nd gear. It was a straightforward course though, not very technical and well laid out.

I believe they simplify the course design when there is a greater chance of inexperienced people attending. (eg. at the Crusing CF event) Regardless, figuring out gearing is often difficult.

I really regret not being able to attend.

I ended up just sticking with 1st for all but one section of the course. Ultimately it hurt me as I should have used 2nd just after the starting gate as well and just been less enthusiastic with the throttle.

Well that course wasn't very good. Not a single slalom and tons of space went unused. I've noticed that even though WOSCA already uses small lots, they don't always do a great job of utilizing all the available space.

If nothing else, Aarons car sure howls. I don't think I've heard anything quite as sexy as that in a while. Martin needs some serious suspension work. Good videos though, too bad I missed it.

Best Run was from a Miata 30.7 but that was in that was on the first few runs when it was still dry, his best in the wet was 31.5. My best in the wet and carrying another body was 33.5. Not bad for a guy that only done this twice now

dj55b, I have nothing against your camera. I just wanted the videos on my own camera so that I can put it on my own YouTube as original content. Actually I'm fairly disappointed with the crappy capture job. I could only capture it at 320 x 240 for some crazy reason so when YouTube scaled it up, it became all fuzzy.

I actually quite liked the course because it was so straightforward and it was a nice course to be on after 5 years of not attending an autocross. My only wish is that it was twice as long because it was too short for my car.

Can't wait for next year when I will have a few rough areas of the map worked out (which I only found at the autocross) and an LSD.

I guess I just prefer more technical courses because my car is slower and more nimble, so a course with only a couple corners tends to be boring for me.

Probably could of shaved a bit more if I had changed my plugs before the race or even cleaned them up. I haven't cleaned them after I kept on flooding the car all the time in the states and took them out 2 days ago because the car was really starting to show poor idle and acceleration, and they were just filled with carbon. Surprised that I actually got about 30mpg's with them on the highway.
