Ya seeing it once is good enough, but I thought it was going to be horrible movie, then ended up not being disapoointed.

I love Tarantino movies, and Death Proof was just a damn good car stunt movie, none of that computer animated garbage that is in a lot of movies these days in place of real stunts and driving.

Was this the second movie in the grind house package? I thought it was pretty boring, at least compared to the awesome first film and intermission "films".

I have to agree with Nik.

As a standalone film, 'Death Proof' was pretty good, especially the last half-hour once the car action started. That was pretty awesome.

But, as part of the double feature in the theater, it couldn't match 'Planet Terror'. That movie was amazing. The pace of Death Proof was too slow, as a 2nd feature. It would have been better being shown first.

The 'trailers' where great, too. 'Hobo with a Shotgun' and 'Thanksgiving' where the two best. I still remember the part in Thanksgiving, where the cheerleader girl is doing the splits on a trampoline, and the killer is waiting underneath with a knife. 'This time there won't be any leftovers' was the tagline.

I guess hes considering doing another grindhouse feature, and the movie 'machete' or whatever it was called from intermissions or previews is being made.

Thing I like about tarantino movies is he doesnt really care what everyone else thinks, like the critics and such. The guy does it specifically how his imagination dictates and doesnt settle for less.

I'm confused about the ending of death proof.

From what I've gathered its a flashback to the past where they kick his *** and give him that scar. The beginning of the movie is actually him getting revenge for that, right?
