Anyone speak Japanese? Got a JDM FD manual

I've been trying to google translate this FD manual for a while. Most of it has been a success, but there are certain symbols I can't convert since there are many ways to say it in Japanese. Anyone here speak Japanese who can possibly help?

Find a katakana or hirigana chart to have the sounds. Most car terms in japanese is english with a japanese way. Mazda= Ma tsu da. Im not japanese but i have a not to bad knowledge about the language. Is your manual a 6 or a 8 serie. It would be very handy if you can scan it.

I posted this on another forum.. this covers series 6 and 8 as well.

Manuals can be found on the above link. I hope this helps someone else. It took me a very long *** time to find these. You cannot even get these from the dealership. I tried many times.

I have started to translate "WD4009 - RX-7 Infini electrical wiring diagram (Frame No. 100001~) [92-93FD3S].pdf" -- The most important page is the very last one (pg 112 of PDF), which shows what Japanese character means what color. Over the coming days, I will be adding more translation as needed.

It is pretty obvious from the common connector page that many of the wires are in different spots, and there are connectors that are new or don't exist in relation to the USDM harness versions.

It is also important to note that the FD came starting 1990 in japan. These cars will have the chassis number FD3S-100001~. Use the chassis number of your car to help you find the manuals related to your car.

All PDF's went under optical character recognition, so you can usually copy and paste the Japanese characters into translate.google.com to make sense of something, if the diagrams are not enough.

Mazda released the FD manuals in supplement form for newer models. So for example, if you have a 1998 FD, and you would want to read starting WD4003-WD4026 manuals to ensure you were up to date with the changes.

Wow, I'm surprised I haven't noticed this thread earlier. I have taken Japanese through university, but I will assume that the characters you are having issues with are the kanji?

In any case, this certainly helps me, so thank you for posting!!
