I personally broke and started her up in the storage space I have over the weekend...ahhh that smell..........common sense told me to wait a while but this weather is sure tempting..................

Weather in Winnipeg is pretty nice too, for the most part. I would love to bring it out NOW, but i think im going to wait until exams are over. Before May though, probably end of April.

I'm going down with the guys to pull mine out of storage next weekend (9th).
It'll spend two weeks up on stands at my parent's place while I do some minimal work on it before the season starts. The drive home will be nice, but not as nice as the first drive with the new intake (won't be ready in time... borrowing a stock nikki for the time being to bring her home)

I was hoping to get the car out this weekend... but I haven't got a place to change my oil... plus it's going to rain on Sat.
So it'll be held off till next weekend... which gives me a bit more time to get her looking nice...
Lates,

I fired her up on Monday. Purr's like a baby. Smokes like an old man...
Drove around my parking "complex" a few times to get the brakes working and smooth out the tyres (yes I'm Ingglish) and just sitting down that low (I drive a minivan in the winter) was awesome.
Insurance back on April 1st.
I am pretty sure I saw a certain pink...I mean...red FD driving on the Gardiner yesterday (Wednesday). But I didnt go deaf as it went by, so maybe it was a different spoilerless beast.

May.1.06 at the earliest as gas prices are starting to go through the roof and my beater gets about 40-50mpg.
Usual rule of thumb if no nights under zero degrees and 2-3 rainfalls to wash all the salt and dirt away., then it comes out.

Mine is coming out of storage Fri. My storage landlord is leaving the province for a few weeks so I would rather have it in my driveway where I have access to it. That way I can start getting her ready for the summer. I will wait a few weeks for rain to wash all the salt off the roads before driving it on a regular basis.

my car has already been out and about for about a week now. i've been trying to do minor fix-it's when i have time, such as installing my deck, replacing all the bulbs that burnt out, and yesterday i had to perform a surprise accesory belt change in the middle of brampton because the belt that was on the car decided it didn't like being in one piece anymore. :P good thing i was going to change it anyways so i'd already bought a spare and had it in the car with me.
tuesday she goes in to get the brakes done, all fluids changed, and all the OTHER belts changed.
it was so ******' nice buzzing along today with the windows down, sunroof open, and the hot sun on my face...hope this warmth sticks around for a while. i'm friggin' sick of the cold.
