Aftermarket Part Stores in Toronto?

Looking for places with speakers, pedel kits, etc etc.

I know of some places in Etobicoke but I'm looking for places in Downtown/ Downsview/ Markham.

Google fails me.

I know PMall and roughly what they have. Thier prices are terrible for stuff that falls of the back of trucks

If you have money, try JRP in Etobicoke, BC Auto in Markham for performance and body kits. Dunno where you can get stuff for audio, though.

That's why I said in the first few words "if you have money."

Alot of aftermarket stuff you cant get here easily. I mean the problem that i face is i endup going to JRP, Upper Performance, Performance Improvements and they are expensive. Now i get alot of stuff from the US but then shipping and customs gets my ***. Alot of stuff you can get off forum members and work out a deal, and then you only worry about customs and what not. So realistically those are your options. Also it depends on what your looking for, Honestly Canadian Retailers in my opinon SUCK compared to US ones for products and where to get them from.

However for Audio, we have a decent amount of stores that can do that sorta bit. Depends on what your looking for. If you want your normal, low-med end pioneer, rockford fosgate, low-mid end kenwood and that type of ****, you can find that everywhere easily (futureshop, bestbuy, 2001 audio video). They carry the basic stuff and the oddball high end stuff. But if your lookin for real highend ****, kicker, high end kenwood, high end clairon, or the real bigboy names like planet audio, audiobahn, mmats, hifonics, **** like that, you have to go to those small stereo shops i know i few that i deal with and they have good ****, sometimes they are a bit pricy, but they can sometimes throw in installation, or wiring kits. Alot of the audio stuff comes down to how much cash you wanna spend. And trust me on that, if you need a hand, lemme know.

Do you know about Marken in Kitchener? On Ottawa between Courtland and Charles. Not the flashiest place and the owner can be grumpy, but he can also get a lot of stuff...

Thanks Starscream. I'm really just looking for some medium stuff. Just really need to replace the speakers. Need to get some measurements.

Want to also replace my pedals. The clutch is worn down to the medal. It's hard to find 4 pedal sets. Seems that everyone always forgets about the dead pedal

Well, for speakers heres the measurements the Fronts are 4inch round, the rears are STOCK 5 and 1/2inch round, HOWEVER, you can EASILY fit 6 and 1/2 inchs in there. So i would pickup a set of 4inch and 6 1/2's. Bestbuy/Futureshop have decent prices on JBL Speakers, i had picked up a set for someone once that was 4 and 6 1/2 and they sounded pretty good. (remember that the sound is gonna change if your amping them up or running off the stock radio. The stock radio is more all around equalized and hence you can get somewhat of a bassy sound, however the speakers wont replicate it greatly because the RMS wattage is higher on these then the stockers, and because of that you get clear great mid/high but not lowend (bass). When you amp them up with a 4 channel amp your gonna get a high clear sound, but again your bass will be lacking. I have heard ppl say "why isnt this sounding better then the stocks, no too much bass wtf!" thats your reason. just make sure of that. I mean hence what a Mono Amp is for with subwoofers (mind you 6x9's can do bass pretty decently! ).

As for pedals, check out ebay, i konw you have to wait a bit, but they sometimes have these pedals for the FC and FD (i assume you have one of those) and you can get a 4 pedal set with the 2 middle small pedals having rotar shapes on it, and the accellerator pedal has like a bit of a tip on the end/side so if you want to heal and toe its easier and it comes with a matching dead pedal.

Goodluck!

Lol, I just found the measurements in the 2nd gen faq :p

The fronts are already Clarion, it's just the back towers. Looks like 6ers will fit just fine. Running an Alpine Deck. The front sound great. I switched the settings to full front to see what was up and they don't lack at all.

There's a futureshop up the road from my work. I'll check it out afterwork or at lunch, check what they have in stock. The website is lacking.

I think this will do me well.

I have a 87 TII.

Thanks for the info.

P.S. W00t to the heel-toe!

Ahh then your already set. Yeah just got my new Clarion Headdeck in, getting rid of my Eclipse Headdeck, even tho its only like 8 months old. Just make sure you disconnect the stock Amplifiers for the stock speakers, a good deck (with its amplfiers) plus the stock amplifiers = **** for sound, its like overkill on the sounds and it sounds like mush.
