1st gen u-joint replacement

I was under the impression that u-joints in later 1st gen models were non-replaceable. I was just speaking with Ken at Drivetec Manufacturing in Scarborough & he says u-joints can be replaced with a little effort. Part # 430 - 10A. Give him a call at 416 - 439 - 4994, I think he'll be able to help. You'll have to call him about pricing but I would assume that it would be less expensive than purchasing a complete driveshaft. Several people also told me I had to replace the entire lower control arm if I needed to replace a ball joint. I had no trouble replacing my ball joints last weekend - you just need the right tools ( beer is one of them ).
