**Ottawa Meet: GTA Rendezvous point!!**

Alright guys, Here's the scoop... We have to be in Ottawa for 2pm!

GTA guys will rendezvous at Fairview Mall (Hwy 404/Sheppard). We have to leave Fairview Mall no later than 10am!!

Which means the West end guys will have to meet us at the Mall before then!
And I know how punctual all you guys are!! No kidding this time! Not there before 10am, you'll just have to catch up to us along the way...

Who's posting up the other rendezvous points along the way??? Do we have to stop in Oshawa? Belleville?? Kingston???? Speak up guys!!

For the people who haven't been keeping track on the Ottawa Meet sticky, most of us will be staying here...

Econolodge
2098 Montreal Rd
613-745-1531
~100$ per night

Make reservations now!

A little over a week to go!!!

Lates,

Phone me when you leave Fairview. I meet ya on the 401 somewhere as I don't want ya stopping for just little ol' me. I'll time it so when you are passing Oshawa, I'll hit the on-ramp.

I would have been staying there but it filled up as soon as you posted in the thread, they only have a Jacuzzi suite left for $195 a night. But I don't like my passenger in that way so I guess I'll book somewhere close by.

Also Beacon Hill Motel, which is at 1668 Montreal Rd doesn't take reservations so they should have rooms available on a first come first served basis.

Montreal Rd is full of hotels and motels. No-one should have a problem finding something last minute.

They haven't chimed in about it or phoned me, but I might vere off and head up the hwy 7 route as it's shorter and leads right to the corel centre anyways. It's about 50-65km less driving that way and takes about 3 1/2 hours driving 90 as oppsed to 3 1/2 driving 140 on the 401 (if you don't get caught) :cough: Charr33 :cough:

Woah woah woah! 7am?! Are you sure about that? It's not gonna take us 3 hours to get to the mall.

Google maps says 77 minutes, and that's driving at the speed limit. 407/404 is a slightly longer drive and I've done it in less than an hour (at 120-140km/h the whole way.)

http://maps.google.ca/ "kitchener to fairview mall toronto"

Unless the convoy is stopping in Mississauga so everyone can get haircuts, maybe we should push the time back to 8:00 or 8:30am...

Oh crap. I though we were leaving Fairview mall (toronto) at 9am.

KITCHENER SPORTSWORLD DEPARTING AT 8AM. Stop in Milton and arrive a 1/2hr before Fairview departure (so people can get gas, washroom break, whatever).

Highway 7 is fun.
It was also the location of our infamous Ottawa Krew OPP Roadblock cruise....

Jason and I will be going. Hopefully we can still fix aspec screwups. Keep on finding new ones. (Wrong bolts holding the wheels on. Almost fell off) Hwy 7 is great. The toronto guys can swing up through oshawa and grab us and then we can go through hwy 7. Thats the route I usually take and I'm right off the hwy.

I had a bit of a... dis-agreement with my boss...
Without going into too much detail, overworked (averaging 60+ hours a week), under-appreciated and underpaid...
