VQ35DE FC Swap

Hello, I figured it is time to post my build on me VQ swapped FC project. First things first, I have been working on this build on and off for about 2 years, with a couple large breaks in between. I'm shooting to have a street legal track car in the end, but im mostly focused on drift and possibly road corse racing.
-1986 RX7 harhard top
-'05 350z VQ35DE
-Megan Racing stainless headers
-'02 Pathfinder rear sump upper and lower oil pan/baffle etc.
-'06 350z 6-speed
-BC BR Type coilovers, valved with 11k/9k swift
-Abercrombie Motorsports full steering angle kit
-T2 rear end & 5 lug fronts
-PBM solid subframe & solid diff mounts
-PBM hydro ebrake kit
-Power steering swap
-18x10.5/9.5 +15 Enkei RPF1's
-BN Sports 8pc widebody
-6 puck unsung clutch & light flywheel (forgot the brand and weight)
-new rotors, calipers, and pads (soon to be dual rear caliper)
-Full Formula D legal cage

more info and pics to come when the sun comes out.
when I first got the car...

The VQ is a wonderful engine. I didnt know that they made the trucks rear sump, that could prove useful in the future.

this will be much quicker then the 350z. are you going to strip some weight? looks like a non sunroof 2550# model. you could get it down to 2400# with the VQ and that would be alot of fun.

Yes, the picture of the car is from when I got it. Now it is fully stripped of the interior and all the sound deadening with fiberglass fenders... but it has a full cage. Forced induction plans within the year. Right now I'm in the process of fitting the engine. Been cleaning the garage for the past couple of days to roll it back in as its 20°F in Spokane, Wa.

I have been thinking about one day doing a swap like this. I can't wait to see the end result on this.

Not that i dont love RX7Club, but I have decided to post this build to the grassroots motorsports forum. I don't feel like posting two of the same at a time and it's easier to post there by phone, which is %90 of how I post. I will periodically update this thread, but if you'd like to follow the day to day go here. (Bigger, betterms pictures)

http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/build-projects-and-project-cars/vq35de-350z-swapped-fc-rx7/97717/page1/#post1716278

I will finish the full build thread here when the car is done.
