I always look forward to your progress. The next best thing to me spending money on parts and working on my FC is watching someone else do it. And you do it very well. Safe travels to the PNW. Wish I could say you'd be encountering better weather while your here. Spring is starting to show it's face in these parts though. Maybe you can at least take that S2K out for a drive if you still have it.
I started assembling the interior and getting all the electrical plugged in. I hooked up a Batt. to see if everything works and this is where I walked away. Taillights, brake lights, hazards, fogs, radio, top ect work other than the turn signals. The turn signals stay lite when the turn signal switch is engaged. Turning on the left turn signal makes the main relay and the headlights come on. I purchased a complete, running/ driving, everything working 89 convertible, stripped the wiring from the car and put it directly into mine. The only thing I changed was the dash harness. The reason for that is someone has cut the OEM radio plugs. I started pulling the dash to change the dash harness and stopped midway. It has been sitting like that for a few months. I would really like to trouble shoot it but at the moment I have no time. I may purchase another 89 convertible if one pops up local for a decent price and try again. once I know all electrical (chassis) works as it should, all the vehicle needs is driveline components. Engine, trans ect.
I received my T56 MAGNUM to Rotary adapter plate, using the T2 bell housing, starter ect. I still have to purchase my transmission and holding off for a bit due to some decisions I have not made. That's another can of worms. for now I have to stay focused on the chassis electrical.
Here is the Magnum transmission I will be using. Part number and gear ratios are at the top. This transmission should put me close to the "sweet spot" for a big framed turbo, 2 rota.
