Nice project, from the looks of it you should have a nice car all said and done.

Nice work on the Fairlady also; I wanted one of those for a long time, until I saw under the hood. That changed my mind, what a PITA to work on. Still neat cars though.

Zs are SUPER easy to work on. alot eaiser than everyone thinks. There tight kind of. what you need to realize is mostly everything is on top of the engine so theres no need to get to the sides most of the time to do regular work. the batt is already relocated.

I got that red POS civic done, ill post some pictures. Now its finally time to get back on track with the vert. In the mean time, i picked up 3more rx7s just cars to part out and such, 3 turbo engines to part out, few other things.. I need to get a messed up vert top to mock up the cage in. No one wants to give me a ripped up non useable top for some reason.

Honda looks nutty. I respect those ones, but no matter how much work is done, they still sound SO bad (Cant speak for yours though, just the b18 turbos here).
I cant wait to see your BBS RS on, Im procrastinating mine...

Every piece is from a Rx7. every panel that is replaced is from a rx7. i have not custom made any metal/panels yet. everything has just been drilled off of a CLEAN CLEAN car to be used on this project

Update

Almost everything's done and ready to start some body work witch isn't going to be much. Take a look at the 3rd picture down. you see the frame rail, a support on the right that the camera made look brown idk and you can barley see the support on the left. there was a plate welded that covered the whole bottom area you see pictured it was welded along those braces and the frame rail.It took me a whole day to grind down all the weld so its back to OEM. I took the air chisel and cut the basic shape of it out just so i can see what im working with. The floor was rotted away from the rocker (the usual rx7 rust spot) BUT someone decided they were going to use angle iron to try and fix it...wooooffff FAIL FAIL FAIL!. It was stacked on top one another and OMG wow is the only real way to describe it... I have pics on another camera that i will upload. i got all the OEM panels back in. The wheel wells, corner caps ect ect. Sandblast most the underneath. I am deleting all the useless brackets and such underneath the car. Tomo i should have the new Quarter on and a few other things tightened up. I'm Getting REALLY sick of laying on the ground So i have a few engine stands and some pipe laying around time to get creative

Well For people following this thread if there is any... idk wtf is up with them brown spots all the time were there is no rust but makes it look like it. Really odd... Anyhow this is what i got done so far. i have started building a Rotissarie b/c im sick of crawling on the ground. It should be upside down tomo . someone cut the back were the tailghts go. hacked it up pretty good back there so i fixed that. its starting to come along. still have to do some work underneith and get it all in Amber Coat/"Honey COat" AKA Serious Rustproofing, and get the underneith tuff guarded.
